Senior SOA Developer

Description:

You will be part of Ciscos video group to work on next generation Video,
content delivery and service routing platform. Looking for a Sr. Developer
with strong Java, JMS, and web application development skills who has had
experience building mission critical systems that must maintain data
integrity.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop a data access layer that uses an object-relational mapping tool
- Build JMX interfaces that will be used by support teams to monitor the
application
- Build highly scalable and high performance multi-threaded servers to
support parallel and distributed processing of large data volumes.
- Build complex data processing transformations. Support product
extensibility by providing open SDKs / APIs.
- Work closely with a wide variety of teams that include Product
Management, QA, and Product Support to clearly communicate requirements and
resolve issues.

Required Experience

- A Bachelors degree (minimum) in Computer Science or related is strongly
preferred.
At least 3 years of experience with Java and C/C++.
- Experience with Web Services development (SOAP and REST) are preferred,
WS-standards, Messaging , Linux environment. Knowledge and exposure to
orchestration tools, ESB, and queuing/messaging are plusses.
- Experience with SOA is required.
- Data management including operational uses of RDBMS, ETL operations,
business intelligence data management, and data distribution/caching
strategies are pluses.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Service Business technology is preferred.
- Knowledge of Open Standards Compliant Software. Strong Knowledge of
System Lifecycle Methodology.
- Strong background in Standards and Open Architecture Framework (J2EE Blue
Prints etc).

Senior Portal Developer

Description:

You will be part of Cisco Video group to work on next generation Video,
content delivery and service routing platform. The candidate must have a
strong J2EE foundation with portal development and/or admin experience. The
candidate should have at least 2 years using specific WebLogic products or
related tools, and 2 or more years experience in a large enterprise
environment using different computing platforms with proven experience in
systems/component analysis, design, development, implementation, and
maintenance on various environments, including multi-tier applications.
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written) skills
are required for interaction with all levels of management. The position
will involve performing projects for multiple clients either at the client
site or via telecommuting. The ideal candidates should be intelligent, hard
working and flexible, with the ability to quickly learn and apply cutting
edge technologies, motivated to work in a fast paced, technology oriented,
rapid growth environment.

Responsibilities:

- Developing and modifying portlet components in the BEA product line,
working with the customer to determine requirements, develop and maintain
portal standards and methodology.
- Conduct the design and development on complex frameworks and backend
services and applications.
- Responsible for on-time and on budget delivery of industry leading web
based solutions.
- Developing proof of concept, prototypes, and overall system architecture
as needed for pre-sales support and post-sales implementation.
- Facilitate development of relationships with key business partners.

Required Skills:

- 5 or more years of experience in J2EE web development (Java, JSP,
Servlet, JavaBean)
- 3 years experience with Portal Technology Architecture, Design,
Development and Best Practices.
- Well versed with BEA Weblogic Portal 8.1/9.2/10.x
- Experience with web portal architecture and integration of web portals
with existing applications. This includes experience with deployment and

- Experience developing and/or deploying portlets for WebLogic Portal Server

- Strong analytical abilities and problem solving skills
- Effective communication skills to work with global team
- Experience in multi-threads or processes programming
- Experience in building web-based programming applications

Skills Required:

- Development in Unix/Linux environment (IPC, threads, filesystem,
database, performance)
- Experience with Open Source Technologies & version control(SVN)
- Strong C/C++ programming skills
- Knowledge of JMX, XML, Javascript, beanshell

Primary responsibilities:
- Work on next generation distributed application delivery platform
(application & infrastructure)
- Work closely with global team on design/implementation of individual
components
- Performance improvement & feature enhancements for existing applications

Senior Software QA Engineer

Description:

You will be part of Cisco China video team to work on next generation
Video, content delivery and service routing platform. The ideal candidate
will be very proactive and self directed and be part of very talented QA
engineering team in China to release an extremely high profile next
generation service delivery product to service providers.

Responsibilities:
- Software engineer in Quality Assurance team working with next generation
Distributed Service Delivery platform, with a unique opportunity to learn
about new technologies and gain a system level experience
- Define test procedures and test plans for manual and automated execution
- Execute test plans and manage test results
- Architect, design and deliver automation software and test systems
- Demonstrate a high degree of originality and innovation
- Champion and define RAS (Reliability, Availability, Serviceability) goals
for the product

Required Skills:
- BS or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or
related field
- At least 2 ~ 4 years related QA experience
