ABOUT US
British Council is an international organisation dealing with cultural relatio
nships. In China it operates as Cultural and Education Section of British Emba
ssy/Consulate-General.
We are registered in the UK as a charity and our purpose is to build mutually
beneficial relationships between people in the UK and other countries and to i
ncrease appreciation of the UK’s creative ideas and achievements.

OUR INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2008
1. We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated interns to join us
in the following jobs:
Market Researcher (1 people)
Requirements:
• Strong analytical thinking, sensitive to data/market intelligence/oppo
rtunities;
• Able to work independently;
• English language proficiency (BULATS 6 or equivalent);
• Good interpersonal/communication skills
• Ideally students in year 3 or 4, or students taking MA degree
Project Assistant (4 people)
Requirements:
• Organisational skills;
• Attention to details;
• English language proficiency (BULATS 6 or equivalent);
• Willing to work intensively, i.e. at least 4 days a week within 3 mon
ths time;
• Able to generate creative ideas
• Ideally students in year 3 or 4, or students taking MA degree
