Job description:

Responsible for monitoring quality of the NX Shape Studio product after inte
gration of projects and bug fixes, based on the execution of automatic and i
nteractive tests. Utilize industry and work experience to ensure Shape Stud
io product satisfies customer’s need.

Detail duties include:

· Perform both interactive and automated tests in NX software to id
entifying failures.=

· Create test plan based on approved Functional Specification docume
nt.

· Perform interactive test based on approved test plan to identify g
aps between implementation and design.

· Report issues found in a timely fashion by logging PR. Recommend
priority of the issues using industry knowledge.

· Create additional automated tests once the implementation is compl
eted.

· Perform regression tests to ensure no new issues are introduced as
a result of code change.

· Interact with customers as necessary to understand how NX is used
and use this knowledge in product testing.

Prerequisites / Requirements

· Masters Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Software Eng
ineering

· Proficiency in surface creation using CAD software

· Basic understanding of mathematical concept of Bezier and NURBS

· Understanding of the Reverse Engineering process

· Must be detail oriented with strong problem solving skills

· Familiarity with NX Shape Studio or Imageware is preferred

· Additional software testing and programming experience is a plus

· Good written and verbal English skills
