BU Description



    WebSphere Commerce (or WC) is one of the largest J2EE solution of 

IBM for e-business. CSDL WebSphere Commerce team owned components 

including 

order/payment/auction/RFQ/contract/pricing/inventory/shipping and ect. 

We have over 9 years of solution and application design and 

development experience. Now we are focusing on SOA, Web 2.0, usability 

and TCOI(total cost of implementation) area of commerce and using 

agile/scrum model in product development.



Job Responsibilities

    Component owner/lead

        The candidates will own component and solution of Websphere 

Commerce. The scope include:

        Component architecture transformation from traditional model 

to SOA/SOI.

        Full responsibility for owned component, including requirement 

analysis/architecture/design/development.

        Work as scrum-master in development process

        Create/develop/own solution in product delivery

        Handle critical technical/non-technical issue that blocked the 

development process

        Get involved in customer case, get/analyse/implement customer 

requirement in product.

    

    Developer:

        The candidates will work on the J2EE based E-Commerce 

applications development. The scope include:

        Maintain existing products and fix both internal defect and 

external APAR as L3.

        Design & Implement new features for products.

        Work with QA team to continue to improve the product quality.

        Work with customer support team to provide high quality and 

in-time service to world wide customers.



Job Requirements (skills/experiences)

    Component owner/lead

        Rich experiences in  product architecture/design/development

        Experienced in  working with world wide team on complex 

project

        Strong technical leadership/insight

        Strong technical skills/experience on Java, J2EE

        Strong technical skills/experience on WAS/STRUTS/DATABASE 

development/administration

        Mastered SOA, Web 2.0 and other technology

        Self-motivated, quick learner and with strong problem 

determination/solving ability

        Fluent in both spoken and written English

        Knowledge/experience on e-commerce is a plus

        Previous experience in product support or familiar with IBM 

software support process is a plus

        Open minded, pro-active, and self-motivated



        

    Developer:

        Strong technical skills/experience on Java, J2EE

        Strong technical skills/experience on WAS/STRUTS/DATABASE 

development/administration

        Familiar with SOA, Web 2.0 and other technology

        Familiar with agile development and scrum model

        Self-motivated, quick learner and with strong problem 

determination/solving ability

        Fluent in both spoken and written English

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)

    Bachelor or Masters Degree

    Major in CS related

    Major in EE related
