Some description about the two positions:

The below two positions will be hired as permanent staff of Standard Chartered Bank Singapore.

Position 1: Derivatives Business Analyst and Developers:

Location: Singapore

Main responsibilities:

Global Markets derivatives product development and implementation teams

-          Analysis of traders an sales product requirements

-          Specification preparation and finalization with development teams

-          Creation of prototype solutions

-          Implementation of products onto core  systems

The products include:

-          Equity derivatives

-          Interest rate derivatives

-          Credit derivatives

-          Foreign exchange derivatives

-          Commodity derivatives

-          Fixed income derivatives

Extensive work with quantitative teams to model and implement new structured and hybrid derivatives products

Skills required:

Excellent post graduate academic qualifications in mathematics (fresh graduate on 2007~2008 will be preferred)

With strong academic backgrounds in Derivatives

Can do attitude and wiliness to succeed in a fast environment

Excellent interpersonal skills

Good command of English both on written and verbal

Position 2£ºDerivatives and second Generation e Commerce technical specialists

Location: Singapore

Main responsibilities:

Global markets derivatives and e Commerce development and implementation teams

-          utilize cutting edge technologies to implement technical solutions for business problems

-          provide simple technology solutions to problems of pricing complex derivatives products in short time frames

-          low latency technical solutions to improve price discovery and trade capture problems for e commerce businesses

Technologies:

-          Grid technology

-          Artificial intelligence

-          Low latency high speed solution-system performance managements

-          Algorithmic trading solutions-while box auto trading solutions

Extensive work with quantitative teams and cutting edge e commerce innovations to model and implement new technology solutions for complex business problems

Skills required:

Excellent post graduate academic qualifications in mathematics, computer science or engineering ((fresh graduate on 2007~2008 will be preferred)

Developers – C++ and java skills

Can do attitude and wiliness to succeed in a fast environment

Excellent interpersonal skills

Candidates with Management Qualities – a mix and probably more the Masters candidates.

Good command of English both on written and verbal
