Student for Information Development in Small Business BU (C-User)

General Description The Small Business Information Development organization co
nsists of 15 information developers distributed globally in teams in Israel, C
hina, Germany and the US. Its core deliverable is product documentation – on
line help, how-to guides, and user interface texts embedded in the application
- for SAP Business One, a complete business management solution designed for
small businesses.

The team plays a key role in enabling partners and customers to successfully i
nstall, upgrade, implement, and operate SAP Business One. It now needs to brin
g special focus to guiding partners and the community on how to extend the pro
duct and build microvertical solutions with the SAP Business One SDK.

Going forward, the team also has as a central challenge to innovate a new know
ledge transfer concept for volume business, which it will implement with the f
uture product, B1x.

Job Description
• Updating and creating version-based business process-focused how-to gu
ides and online help.
• Completing gaps in existing documentation, and creating new documentat
ion when required.
• Testing output of production of help files
• Mapping integration of product documentation into the application

Job Requirements
• Major in English, TEM 8
• Minor or background in business (e.g., accounting, logistics) and econ
omics
• Minor in computer technology is a predominance
• Strong English writing skills; able to author clearly, concisely and a
ccurately
• Excellent command of English
• Proven abilities in researching, organizing and presenting technical k
nowledge
• Quick grasp of complex technologies
• Expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other desktop publishing
and computer graphics tools
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Attention to detail
• Highly motivated, and consistently able to meet tough, multiple deadli
nes under pressure
• Talented in interpersonal communication
• Team player in a global environment
• Willing to travel abroad
• First or Second year of postgraduate
