思科大学实践与创新俱乐部（Cisco Academic Practice and Innovation Clubs）是由思
科中国研发中心发起，联合思科（中国）网络技术有限公司和思科网络学院与国内著名大
学合作的全新的非盈利公益组织，旨在凭借思科公司在全球互联网领域的领先技术和理念
，与亚太地区高校合作，培养创新型科技人才，为高校学生搭建一个实践创新的平台。20
07年4月18日，思科大学俱乐部在上海交通大学正式成立。
思科俱乐部的会员包括面向所有对思科感兴趣的学生的“兴趣会员”及有机会接触并
参与思科的研发项目的“核心会员”。在俱乐部的活动中，除了能够与思科一流的技术专
家现场交流，成员的创业及毕业设计还有机会被评估选拔为思科的研发项目。在发展过程
中，思科俱乐部将与思科网络学院相互促进，与高校老师、教授以及学生建立更深入和紧
密的研发合作。

新一轮的思科大学实践与创新俱乐部核心成员与实习生的联合招收又开始了，成为思科
俱乐部核心成员将有机会获得思科（中国）研发中心的以下实习机会。成员笔试时间与实
习工作如下。

1. Position: Linksys Software Engineer Intern
Quantity: 1
To be part a part of a team with the market leader in providing broadband netw
orking
equipment to service providers. To be a contributor to providing embedded sof
tware
for this equipment, by systematically porting and customizing embedded softwar
e solutions
to various hardware platforms, and developing market leading features to main
tain
and extend our lead position.
Education: Bachelor degree or above, Master is preferred.
Programming Language: Experience in C and C++ is required.
Candidates must have experience with object-oriented modeling and
software design, and embedded systems development.
OS Platforms: Experience in either VxWorks or embedded Linux
is required. Embedded Linux experience is preferred.
Networking knowledge: Candidates must understand the functionality
of OSI Model, and TCP/IP stack protocols. Must be capable of developing netwo
rk applications
using the standard socket interface. Must have knowledge of protocol stack d
esign and decoding,
state machines, operating system primitives. xDSL and 802.11 experience is pre
ferred.
Hardware Knowledge: Must understand the basic concepts of interrupts,
I/O, DMA, Flash operation, and interrupt handler routines.
Driver-writing experience is preferred but not required.

2. Software Developer /IPCBU
RESPONSIBILITY:
Participate on a project team of engineers involved in development of software
for Cisco IP phone products, that may include any of the following list of re
sponsibilities
• Write design specifications and functional specifications.
• Design, develop, enhance and maintain system software in a UNIX / Sol
aris development environment.
• Follow standard design and implantation processes and procedures. Deve
lops well-defined software modules.
• Perform well-defined unitary test. Write portions of test plans.
• Debug sections of the subsystem.
• Website maintenance for projects
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• MS in EE/CS or related domain
• Experience in developing internetworking applications in a UNIX / Sola
ris development environment.
• Programming language experience: C/C++, Java
• Experience with the protocols including but not limited to: CDP, DHCP,
DNS, TFTP, SCCP, SIP, RTP, sRTP, IPSec, HTTPS, UDP, TCP and IP
• Web development experience (Html, Xml, Java, script).
• Excellent written and verbal communication
