Internship Program

Operations & Technology (O&T) is one of the biggest business 
functions in Citibank China. O&T is responsible for the day-to-day 
operations of all Citi’s Global Transaction Services and Capital 
Markets and Banking businesses in China as well as for the 
development and maintenance of the technology applications that 
drive our businesses.

In China, O&T has the business units of Cash Operations, Trade 
Operations, Securities & Funding Services Operations, Fixed Income 
Commodity & Currency Operations, Loan Operations and Control 
(Operations Compliance).  Its presence covers all the branches in 
China in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Chengdu, 
Hangzhou and Dalian.  

The Citi China Operations & Technology Internship Program is the 
chance for you to come and explore opportunities in the Operations 
& Technology Department in Citibank, to bring us your passion,

Brief Introduction of Citi China Operations & Technology Internship 
Program

To build up the pipeline of talents for O&T, the program aims to 
select students suitable for O&T business, develop them through on-
job trainings and rotations to meet Citi’s rapid business growth 
needs in China. 

The Citi China O&T Internship Program is a more than 3 months 
program, starting from July 2008. During the summer holiday, 
internship participants have the opportunity to work on full time 
basis. When the new semester starts there may be the opportunity to 
work part-time as per school curriculum schedule. 

The top performing interns from the program will be selected and 
invited to participate in the process for the opportunity of hiring 
at the end of the internship. Candidates who successfully pass the 
final selection process after their internship will be offered 
positions in Operations & Technology Department in 2009. 

General Requirements:

1.Due to graduate and successful pass a bachelor degree in year 
2009 or Due to graduate and successful pass a Masters Degree in 
year 2009
2.Majored in Finance, Accounting , English or Computer Science are
preferred 
3.Attention to details, strong sense of responsibility
4.Dedicated to build up a solid career path in the Operations & 
Technology Department in a rapid-growth organization
