Test Engineer Intern in Cisco China R&D Center

Cisco Systems (China) R&D Center is recruiting interns to help in the software
testing process. You will be working with experienced engineers of software
development and testing to ensure the world-class quality of Cisco VoIP
products.

Job Description:
- Engage in the process of software development test, system test and
sustaining test.
- Responsible for creating, debugging and refining automation scripts used
in regression.
- Working on softswitch products and solutions, setuping and troubleshooting
complicated testbeds.
- Working closely with developers to solve discovered software bugs, and
ensure the time of product release.

Requirements:
- Available immediately, and able to work 3-4 days a week for about 6 months
- Expert in Unix and C Programming
- Familiar with TCL or other shell scripting languages
- Have interest and knowledge of networking concepts and tools, IOS CLI
- Knowledge of communication protocols, such as SS7, ISUP, Sigtran, SIP is a
plus
--Majored in Telecommunication, CS, EE, and other IT related majors preferred.
- Highly motivated and with good communication skills in English both oral
and written
- Able to work independently and in a team environment efficiently
- Highly responsible. Attenting to detail and be willing to learn various
new technologies.
