《Beijing Today》是北京市属的一份综合性英文周报，由北京青年报社主办。读者群主要为在京外国人及国内具有英文阅读能力的人。
创刊6年来，《Beijing Today》始终坚持真实、新鲜、时尚、潮流的风格，已得到越来越多读者的认可和喜爱，成为世界了解北京的一个重要窗口。
在校大学生一直是《Beijing Today》读者中重要的、数量众多的一个群体，为了能更好地服务这一读者群、并且为了给广大在校大学生提供参与新闻实践、发表英文作品的机会，特创办《Beijing Today》大学生英语通讯社(简称‘大英社’, College English Freelancers Association (CEFA))，现招募社员暨大学生通讯员（文字及摄影）。
CEFA将成立若干分社、按照《Beijing Today》的出版周期定期召开选题会，系统组织英语新闻写作培训、配合本报记者实地进行新闻采写、文章可得到编辑及外国语言专家的指导并可优先在本报发表。
报名条件：1）在京大学生、研究生及外国留学生；
2）英语四级以上（英语为母语国家留学生除外）、专业不限；
3）喜爱英文写作，有一定的新闻敏感性；
4）责任心强，吃苦耐劳、有团队精神，有较强的社会活动能力；
5）摄影通讯员应具备一定的摄影知识及经验（自备摄影器材）；
另外：CEFA也欢迎具有优秀活动组织能力或具有平面设计、网站设计、数据库设计专业背景大学生作为特需人才加入。
报名方式：请发送个人简历(中英文)、相关作品及个人近照至dayingshe@ynet.com
报名日期：即日起至2007年4月18日
Beijing Today is the first comprehensive English newspaper published by Beijing Youth Daily, Beijing Today covers news and events for readers who can understand English.
Since its foundation six years ago, Beijing Today has won praise from many readers for its fashionable and trendy style. The paper provides a window for the world to see and experience China\'s capital.
College students are Beijing Today\'s most important and most targeted readers. To serve the group and provide more opportunities for them to get published, Beijing Today has founded its College English Freelancers Association (CEFA). CEFA is beginning its first recruitment of reporters, both writers and photographers.
CEFA will be divided into groups based on Beijing Today\'s publication cycle and meeting schedule. Members will be trained in newswriting, and will aid Beijing Today’s reporters in covering events. Stories written by CEFA members will be polished by both editors and foreign experts, and then published in Beijing Today.
Application Requirements:
1) Be an undergraduate, graduate or foreign student in Beijing
2) Have passed the CET4 or higher; no major limitations
3) Interested in English writing and possess an ear for news
4) Responsible and hardworking; have team spirit; sociable.
5) Photographers must have knowledge and experience in the trade, and be able to provide their own equipment
CEFA welcomes students who specialize in design, websites and databasing.
